too many thoughts, too little time

6 Nov

So initially, I started this blog to keep track of my new life in Hong Kong, commenting on my favourite hobbies and topics, including asian culture, music and food.  But after starting my job and having other commitments, I’ve really struggled to find the time to blog about all the things I want to.

You’ll find most of my posts are quite tongue-in-cheek, and I often make fun of kpop, and life in general.

Most other blogs try to be unbiased and keep their readers happy.  Thats just not me, and I’m not afraid of heating things up a bit, whilst at the same time making some people smile.

Wish I had more time though =(  I know don’t get many people visiting here, with only a couple of frequent commentators to keep me interested (looking at you izzie and jane haha), but I wanna continue with this thing.

So anyway, what I wanna say is if anyone at all has any similar interests to me (english music, cpop, kpop, jpop, football, basketball, food and cooking, travelling, asian culture, US TV) and wanna put a fun little blog together, that is unafraid to hurt some ickle netizen feelings, then let me know.

i love crazy stalker netizens, such drama-queens 😀

u wanna write some stuff? gimme your email address, we can chat more freely there ~

hopefully in near future, i can find some other writers. just casual ones, no need to write 10 articles each day a-la-allkpop. just a group of fun people who wanna have a laugh, and share some ‘unique’ perspectives. and not limited to kpop either – like i said, all types of other musics, tv shows, culture, food, sport (football = soccer), or whatever the shiz they want. of course.. probs most posts would be about kpop ~ XD

there are A LOT of decent little blogs about kpop, but who have very few frequent commentators. it would be nice if they were all linked in a way a grow a slightly larger following, not thousands like akp, but more then several… ^^

what a wonderful idea michael– i’m definitely a follower of the bigger sites/blogs like seoulbeats, AKP, and K bites… but it would be nice to check up another more personable one– one that isn’t afraid to bite (i miss asianjunkie!)
i personally like smaller communities, where you kinda see the same visitors again and again. so far, i’m really enjoying snsdkorean.

i’m afraid that with school and my ipod blog, i don’t have any more time to spare. but whatever it is you come up with, i’ll be a sure supporter!

      thanks for your support jane!

i’m working hard in contacting all the bloggers (i’ve contact around 30 – 5 have yet to reply). once i get everyones attention, i will give everyone the details in one go.

if you want to be in the loop too, let me know! ^^

btw, i’m tempted to call the website ‘asianjunkies’ . although has shut down for over a year now, i wanted to give a heads up to kensai to make sure he doesn’t mind.

i remember having kensai on my facebook before but i can’t find him anymore. do you have him?

damn it! i just googled “asianjunkie” and the first result was a porn site!

asianjunkies is not taken – but its too easy for ppl to make a mistake and forget the ‘s’.
